Brian Shrum

Brian has 30 years of experience in the Financial Services Industry, servicing financial institutions and RIA’s. As a Senior Vice President and Director of Operations at Zions Bancorporation, Brian oversaw the Trust Operations for 20 years, including 7 years also overseeing the stock and bond transfer/paying agent department.

Before joining Fi-Tek in 2019, Brian worked closely with Fi-Tek for almost 20 years as a “power user” and Advisory Board member, and assisted in developing workflows in and automation of TrustPortal/GWES. He has extensive experience with SSAE18, OCC, FDIC and other critical audit and regulatory processes, and has worked with financial institutions and system vendors to develop efficient and audit-controlled workflows to reduce risk and increase functionality and efficiency. Brian has extensive conversion experience within his own organizations, besides assisting in onboarding Fi-Tek clients with regard to mapping, training, and integrating the TrustPortal/GWES application with the client environments.
